Pearl Tull, age 74, of Vineland died
Wednesday evening, August 16, 2006 at South Jersey Regional Medical
Center in Vineland where she had been a patient for five weeks. She had
been in declining health for the past year.
Born in Salisbury, Maryland the
daughter of the late Elias and Christina Weeks Grant she was the wife of
the late Burman P. Tull, Sr. She had been a Vineland resident for 15
years and had lived in Bridgeton and Fairton previous to that.
Before her retirement in 1995, Mrs.
Tull had been employed with Harrah’s Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City
as a Sous Chef for 15 years. Prior to that she had worked in the dietary
department at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland and also
in the seafood industry in Port Norris for many years.
She was a member of the Pilgrim
Holiness Church in Bridgeton.
Surviving are two daughters, Angeline
Hickman and her husband Stanley of Vineland and Carla Tull of Millville;
five sons, Burman Tull, Jr. of Port Elizabeth, Tyrone Tull of Atlantic
City and Wesley Tull, Kelvin Tull and his wife Crystal and Wade Tull all
of Vineland; two brothers, Samuel Grant of Long Island, NY and Moses
Grant of Newark; one sister, Shirley Fields of Bloomfield, 35
grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and
friends.
Funeral services will be held on
Tuesday, August 22nd at 11 a.m. at the House of Prayer, 413 North Fourth
Street, Vineland.
Burial will take place at Haleyville
Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Township.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10
to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
