Ella Mae Mitchell, 96, of Bridgeton,
died in South Jersey Extended Car, Bridgeton, on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006.
She had been in declining health for several years.
The wife of the late Joshua Mitchell, she was born in Gainesville, Fla.
and was the daughter of the late William and Maggie Roberts Fletcher.
She had been a Bridgeton resident for 15 years and prior to that had
lived in Atlantic City.
Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one son, Alonzo Mitchell, Atlantic City; two
daughters, Lee Esther Mitchell, Sarasota, Fla. and Shirley Mae James,
Atlantic City and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Queen Esther McNeil and thirteen brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday, Dec. 11, at 12:00
O’clock noon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell
Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning
between 11:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent to the
