James C. Olivetti, 83, of Millville,
died in the Eastern Shore Rehabilitation Center, Cape May County, on
Friday evening, Dec. 8, 2006. He had been in failing health for the past
2 years.
The husband of Gloria Sooy Olivetti, he was born in Clinton, Ind., and
was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Peretti Olivetti. He had been a
resident of Millville for the past 24 years and prior to that had lived
in Vineland.
Retired since 1989, he had been employed with Wheaton Glass Co. in
Millville for over 20 years. Prior to that he had worked at Vineland
Chemical Company.
James was a veteran of World War Two, serving with the U. S. Army Air
Force, stationed in Alaska.
He attended the First Assembly of God Church, Millville.
Besides his wife, survivors include: one step-daughter, Eileen Dudzieck,
Upper Deerfield Township; two step-sons, John Jones and Bruce Jones,
both of Millville; a sister, Marion Kull, Vineland; four
step-grandchildren, Robert Dudzieck, Christina Jones, Bruce Jones, Jr.
and Megan Jones; three nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death
by a sister, Theresa Talbot and two brothers, John Olivetti and Jules
Olivetti.
Memorial services will be held in the First Assembly of God Church, 1700
Wheaton Ave., Millville, on Thursday morning, Dec. 14, at 10:30 O’clock.
Cremation will take place in Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield
Township. There will be no public viewing. Funeral arrangements are
under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield
