Isaac L. “Bill” Pierce, 63, of
Fairfield Township, died in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center on
Friday, Dec. 1, 2006. He had been in failing health for the past 6
months and a patient at the hospital for 4 days.
The husband of Shirley Grooms Pierce, he was born in Rosenhayn and was
the son of the late Walter and Gertrude Durham Pierce. He had lived at
his present address for 10 years and prior to that had been a resident
of Bridgeton.
Prior to his retirement 5 years ago, due to poor health, he had been
employed at Bridgeton Agway. Before that he had worked at Red Pack Foods
in Cedarville for many years and also at Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville.
He was an avid hunter and enjoyed antique bicycles.
Besides his wife, survivors include: two daughters, Linda Boggs, Port
Norris and Connie Mace, Pittsgrove and two sons, Isaac Pierce, Jr. and
Robert Pierce, both of Fairfield Township.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main St.,
Cedarville, on Tuesday morning, Dec. 5, at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be
in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville A viewing will be held at the funeral
home on Tuesday morning between 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock. Written
