Marcella H. Ayars, 42, of Upper
Deerfield Township, died Monday morning, Feb. 13, 2006, in Kindred
Hospital in Philadelphia, after an extended illness. She had been a
patient at the hospital for 8 months.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of Herman and Betty Hilbert
Stidham of Elmer. She had lived at her present address for 5 years and
prior to that had been a resident of Bridgeton.
Marcella had formerly been employed in the pharmacy department in Rite
Aid Pharmacy in Millville. She had also been a waitress at the former
Dee’s Luncheonette in Cedarville.
Besides her parents, survivors include: one daughter, Kayla Ayars,
Cedarville; one brother, Herman Stidham, Jr., Alloway and two sisters,
Sandra Lumburg, Colorado Springs, Co. and Margaret Myers, Georgia.
The Rev. Canon E. Thomas Higgins will conduct funeral services in the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township,
on Friday morning, Feb. 17, at 11:00 O’clock. Burial will be private, at
the convenience of the family, in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell
Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning
between 10:00 and 11:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent to the
