Dolores G. Spatafore, 63, of
Vineland, NJ, died in South Jersey Regional Medical Center in Vineland
on Thursday morning, Feb. 9, 2006, where she had been a patient for the
past week. She had been in failing health for 10 years.
Born in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Dolor and
Bertha Brisson Mercure. She had been a Vineland resident for 10 years
and prior to that had lived in Pennsylvania.
Dolores was a L. P. N. by profession and prior to her retirement, due to
failing health, she had been employed at Lower Bucks Hospital in Bucks
County.
She attended the Bridgeton Assembly of God Church in Bridgeton, NJ and
loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include: two sons, Ronald W. Spatafore, Jr., Vineland and
Timothy S. Spatafore, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Howard Mercure,
Florida, Larry Mercure, Donald Mercure and Kenneth Mercure, all of
Massachusetts; one sister, Joyce Fletcher, California and five
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Sean Spatafore and a
sister, Sissy Mercure.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Cremation will take
place in Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township. Funeral
arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper
