Josephine F. Clarke, 75, of
Bridgeton, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Monday morning,
Jan. 30, 2006.
The wife of the late Harold Clarke, she was born in Bridgeton and was
the daughter of the late Delbert and Edith Goldsboro Morris. She had
been a resident of Bridgeton for most of her life.
Josephine was a homemaker and was a member of NAM-MYOHO-RENGE-K Y0
NICHIREN DAISHONIN’S BUDDHISM, Gateway Association of the County Comm.
Action Agency, Bridgeton Unity Committee and the Bridgeton Democratic
Committee.
Survivors include: one son, Antonio Clarke, Vineland; two sisters, Delby
G. Pritchett, Upper Deerfield and Patsy Johnson, Bridgeton; seven
grandchildren; two aunts, one uncle; a god son, Frank “Sugarfoot”
Pritchett, Upper Deerfield, one niece, Wanda Morris, Frederick, Md. and
one nephew, D. J. Tony Morris, Vineland.
Funeral services will be private. A viewing will be held in the PADGETT
FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday
evening Feb. 3, between 5:00 and 7:00 O’clock. Written condolences may
