Mildred Kiesel, 86, of Commercial
Township, died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2006 at the Kindred Hospital in
Philadelphia after a brief illness.
The wife of the late George Kiesel, she was born in Port Norris and was
the daughter of the late Robert and Rachel Myers Shaw. She had resided
in Commercial Township for 3 years after living in Bridgeton most of her
adult life.
Prior to her retirement, Mildred worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at
the former County Hospital in Hopewell Township for many years.
Survivors include: two daughters, Laura D’Agostino of Commercial
Township and Ellen Orange of Bridgeton; four sons, Edward Munyon of
Millville, Mervin Munyon of Bridgeton, Charles Munyon of Vineland and
Elbie Munyon of Bridgeton; one sister, Mary Sheppard of Cedarville and
several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Shaw and
four sisters, Hannah, Nora, Evelyn and Jeanette.
Cremation and inurnment will take place at the Laurel Lawn Crematory,
Upper Deerfield Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the
