Kennard E. Muntz, age 73, of
Cedarville died suddenly Wednesday morning, January 25, 2006 the result
of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Alloway Township.
Born in Salem, the son of late John
M. and Viola Campbell Muntz he was the husband of the late Betty Lou
Eller Muntz. He had been a Cedarville resident for 41 years and prior to
that had lived in Bridgeton.
Before his retirement 10 years ago he
had been employed with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville for over
30 years. For the past 3 years he had been employed at the Bay Point
Marina.
Mr. Muntz was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served with the
United States Navy.
He was a member of the Fifth Ward
Athletic Club in Bridgeton and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include two sons, Kennard
E. Muntz, Jr. and Bruce M. Muntz and his wife Lisa of Cedarville; three
daughters, Maxine Orange and Sharon Cassidy and her husband Joseph of
Cedarville and Hettie Ortiz of Vineland; his twin brother, Kenneth D.
Muntz of Pennsville; one sister, Harleane Wells of Dover, DE and his
fiancé, Shirley Eller of Cedarville; eight grandchildren, Billy Muntz,
Dustin Orange, Brandie Cassidy, Tammy Atkinson, Chad Orange, Brooke
Cassidy, Tiffany Muntz and Gabrielle Dillard and several nieces and
nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, George Allen Muntz.
Funeral services will be held on
Monday at 10 a.m. from the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway #
77, Upper Deerfield Township.
Burial will be made at Cedar Hill
Cemetery in Cedarville.
Friends may call on Sunday evening
from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
