Margaret M. Harris, 79. of
Cedarville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2006.
She had been in failing health for
the past 5 years.
The wife of the late Sherman Harris,
she was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late Harry and
Mary Kauffman Gappa. She had lived in Cedarville for over 52 years and
prior to that had resided in Bridgeton.
Prior to her retirement she had
worked at the former Seibel & Stern Clothing Factory in Bridgeton for 33
years.
Margaret was a dedicated member of
St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Cedarville.
Survivors include: one daughter, Elaine Marlette and her husband Tony of
Cedarville; four grandchildren, Sherman B. Harris, Jr. and his wife
Sarah, Laurel Lake; April M. Harris, Millville, Tony J. Marlette,
Cedarville and Nicole M. Marlette, Cedarville. She was preceded in death
by a son, Sherman B. Harris; two sisters, Catherine Bianco and Rose
Harris and four brothers, Joseph Gappa, John Gappa, Harry Gappa and
David Gappa.
Her Funeral Liturgy will be
celebrated in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 367 Main St.,
Cedarville, on Monday evening, July 10th, at 7:00 O’clock. Cremation
will take place at Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township. A
viewing will be held in the church on Monday evening between 6:00 and
7:00 O’clock. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the
