William G. Taylor, age 60, of
Glassboro died Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the Kennedy Memorial Hospital
in Washington Township where he had been a patient for four days. He had
been in declining health for the past eighteen months.
Born in Bridgeton, the son of the
late George and Irlanda Cherubini Taylor he was the husband of Lois
Wolfe Taylor. He had lived at his present address for 11 months and
prior to that had resided in Sewell and Bridgeton.
Mr. Taylor had previously been
employed with the Decora Division of Wheaton Glass Company in
Williamstown as a plant manager and also had been a plant manager with
Wheaton Glass Company in Millville. He had also worked at Anchor Hocking
Company in Salem giving him 42 years of employment in the commercial
glass industry.
He graduated Cum Laude from Bryant
College in Providence, Rhode Island and attended the Gloucester County
Community Church in Sewell.
In addition to his wife survivors
include a son, Matthew W. Taylor and his wife Michelle of Morton, PA; a
daughter, Melinda T. Schoutens and her husband Robert of Wayne, PA; a
brother, George M. Taylor, Jr. of Upper Deerfield Township and a
grandson, Sean W. Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Thursday, July 6th at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Thursday from 10
to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mr. Taylor’s memory be made to the Gloucester
County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Washington Township,
NJ 08080.
