Carolyn E. Galle, aged 81, of
Millville, died in the S. J. Regional Medical Center on Monday morning,
June 12, 2006. She had been in failing health for the past year.
The wife of Vincent A. Galle, she was born in Bridgeton and was the late
David and Helen Regenus Ropp. She had been a resident of Millville for
the past 60 years and prior to that had lived in Bridgeton.
Carolyn had assisted he husband Vincent in the operation of Galle’s Sub
Shop in Bridgeton and had also assisted her son Domenic in the operation
of Galle’s Indian Fields Market in Bridgeton.
She was a member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church in Millville.
Helen loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, survivors include: two sons, Vincent David Galle
and his wife Mary and Domenic A. Galle and his wife Doris; a daughter,
Helen M. Macrine and her husband Samuel; six grandchildren, Samuel
Macrino and his wife Michele, Vincent J. Macrino and his wife Joelle,
Michelle Price and her husband Ryan, Rhonda Jacquet and her husband A.J,
Helen Galle and James Galle and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There
will be no public viewing. Funeral services are under the direction of
the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township. Written condolences
