Joanne Harvey, age 48, of Bridgeton
died Sunday afternoon, June 11, 2006 at her home.
Born in Bridgeton, the daughter of
Lena Leek Hayes-Massey of Bridgeton and the late Joseph Hayes, she was
the wife of Walter D. Harvey, Sr. She had been a lifetime Bridgeton
resident.
Mrs. Harvey was a Licensed Practical
Nurse by profession and had been a dedicated nurse with the Vineland
Developmental Center for 20 years.
She greatly enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and
mother, survivors include three sons, Walter D. Harvey, Jr. of Abilene,
TX, Steven D. Harvey and John S. Harvey both of Bridgeton; her
step-father, William A. Massey of Bridgeton; a brother, Joseph K. Hayes
of Bridgeton; two sisters, Betty J. Sawyer of Fairton and Susan C. Diaz
of Bridgeton; a step-sister, Marci Bixby of Michigan; four
grandchildren, Tabea J. Harvey, Jessmine M. Harvey, Olivia R. Harvey and
Walter D. Harvey III along with 4 uncles, 16 nieces and nephews and 22
great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandparents Thomas
and Hazel Leek.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Friday, June 16th at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.

11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Written condolences
