Mabel Terry, 84, of Bridgeton, died
in S. J. Regional Medical Center on Wednesday morning, June 7, 2006,
after a brief illness. She had been a patient at the hospital for the
past week.
The wife of the late Edgar Terry, she was born in Perry Point, Md. and
was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Anna Mae Nickerson Hopkins.
Mrs. Terry had been a resident of Bridgeton for most of her life.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: five daughters, Ruth Craner, Millville, Gloria
Narlesky, Stuart, Fl., Paula Clark, Hopewell Township, Elaine Webb,
Michigan and Kay Herman, Bridgeton; three sons, Albert Dooley,
Millville, Kenneth Dooley, Fairfield Township and David Dooley, Florida;
two sisters, Louise of Delaware and Ann Mae “Cookie” of Colorado;
seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great
grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Carlton Dooley; three
sisters, Dora, Sara and Fannie and three brothers, William, Harry and
Franklin.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday afternoon, June 9, at
3:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton. A viewing
will be held at funeral home on Friday afternoon between 2:00 and 3:00
