Raymond E. “Bud” Vorberg, 68, of
Bridgeton, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, in S. J. Regional Medical Center.
He had been in failing health for the past 3 years and a patient at the
hospital for 1 day.
Born in Absecon, he was the son of the late Raymond A. and Ruth Ludy
Vorberg. He had been a Bridgeton resident for a number of years.
Prior to his retirement, Raymond had been employed as a Civil Engineer
with the State of New Jersey for 20 years. Previous to that he had
worked for the State of Indiana as an Engineer.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was a graduate of Tri State
College of Engineering in Illinois. He was a member of Sigma Phi Delta
Fraternity.
Survivors include: one son, Mark Vorberg, Illinois; one sister, Joan R.
Meneghini and her husband John of Upper Deerfield Township; two nieces,
Lisa Mattioli and her husband Clarence, Hammonton and Marie Meneghini,
Upper Deerfield Township and one nephew, John Meneghini, Jr., Bridgeton.
Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Deerfield Presbyterian Cemetery, Upper Deerfield
Township. There will be no public viewing. Funeral arrangements are
under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield
