Louis Del Collo, Sr., age 93, of
Upper Deerfield Township, died unexpectedly Monday, March 20, 2006.
The husband of the late Helen Hignett
Del Collo, who passed away on February 5th of this year, he was born in
Bridgeton and was the son of the late Nicholas and Florence Santo Del
Collo. He had been a lifetime Bridgeton area resident.
Lou had been a self employed
carpenter for the past 65 years.
He was a member of Immaculate
Conception Church in Bridgeton and also the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge
in Bridgeton.
Survivors include one grandson,
Michael L. Del Collo of Upper Deerfield Township; one granddaughter,
Deborah H. Morrison of San Jose, California; Four great-grandchildren,
Kevin D. Morrison and Craig A. Morrison of California, Traci L. Del
Collo Hider of Fairfield Township, Brian M. Del Collo of Upper Deerfield
Township and a great-great grandchild, Madison Hider.
He was predeceased by a son, Louis
Del Collo, Jr. in 1992, a brother, Joseph Del Collo and three sisters,
Rose Pagano, Kathrine Romano and Mary DuBuono.
His Funeral Liturgy will be
celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 312 North Pearl
Street, Bridgeton on Monday morning, March 27th at 11 a.m.
Burial will be made at St. Mary’s
Cemetery in Bridgeton.
A viewing will be held at the PADGETT
FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on
Monday morning between 9:30 an 10:30 a.m. Written condolences may be
