David A. Duffield, age 56, of
Vineland, the son of the late Elmer and Doris Brown Duffield departed
this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Cooper Medical Center in
Camden after a brief illness. He had been a patient there for six days.
A beloved brother and uncle, Mr.
Duffield is survived by his three sisters, Patti J. Klinck of Millville,
Marsha A. Charlton of Pittsgrove and F. Carolyn Elbertson of Vineland.
Mr. Duffield’s pride and joy were his
nieces and nephews, Nichole Klinck of Millville, Carolyn M. Carter of
Vineland, James C. Young of Shiloh, William S. Charlton of Fairton,
Patrick J. Charlton of Franklinville and Todd C. Charlton of Lindenwold.
David owned and operated Epicenter
Acoustics in Vineland for many years. His accomplishments in the fields
of consulting and design only complimented his repair and restoration of
Professional Audio Systems. He practiced his craft for over 40 years and
taught many local people in the music industry be it on stage or behind
the scenes. He was well known as the “Doctor of Sound” and his list of
clients included many well known celebrities, but that never inflated
his ego.
He was a veteran and served his
country in the United States Navy with honor and pride.
He will be missed by many for his
sharp sense of humor and timely jokes. He loved animals and children.
The world was truly blessed for the brief time he was here.

held on Monday, March 27th at 2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in
Cedarville.
Cremation and inurnment took place at
