Frank H. Loatman, Sr.

Frank H. Loatman, Sr., 72, of Bridgeton, died at his home on Sunday, May 21, 2006, after a brief illness.

The husband of the late Sylvia M. Loatman, who passed away in Sept. of 2001, he was born in Bridgeton and was the son of Rebecca Mosley Wright of Salem and the late Harold Loatman. He had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.

Prior to his retirement seven years ago, he had been employed with Downe Township School and previous to that had been a driver for National Freight Co. in Vineland for several years and also with the former Cross Transportation Co. in Bridgeton for over 37 years.

Frank was a member of the Nanticoke Lenne Lenape Indians.

Besides his mother, survivors include: one son, Frank Loatman, Jr., Fairfield Township; six daughters, Brenda Barry and her husband Skip, Brookville, Md., Andre’ Gould and her husband Greg, Millville, Martha Gould and her husband Daryl, Fairfield Township, Penny Allen and her husband Mike, Lawrence Township, Sonya Slater and her husband Greg, Bridgeton and Sylvia Loatman-Omer and her husband Yousif, Bowie, Md.; twelve grandchildren, Tara Gould, Brook Monee’Goff, Kristen Kira Goff, Candi Nocole Gould, Peggy Ann Slater, John Barry, III, Frank Loatman, III, Meredith “Ducky” Gould, Jason Barry, Daryl “Stuffy” Gould, Jr., Keith “Poohie” Goff, Jr. and Sean D. Gould; six great grandchildren; Drew T. Gould, Joseph Colon, Jr., Felix Willis, IV, Daryl Gould, III, Ava Omer and Anthony Moffa; three brothers, Joe “Poke” Loatman, Hartley Loatman and Jerry Loatman and four sisters, Lillian Loatman, Alice Reese, Jackie Smith and Eva Caesar. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Loatman; a son, Keith Allen Goff, Sr.; two brothers, Ronald Loatman and Barry Loatman and two sisters, Hazel Loatman and Edith Loatman

Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family, in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Entombment will be in Overlook Mausoleum, Bridgeton.
