Elva M. Loder, 99, of Bridgeton, died
in Cumberland Manor on Monday morning, May 22, 2006.
The wife of the late David R. Loder, Sr., she was born in Heislerville
and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Florence Davies Cox. Mrs.
Loder had been a resident of Bridgeton since 1933 and prior to that she
had lived in Millville.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed with the former
Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for 15 years.
Survivors include: her daughter-in-law, Judith Bouch Loder, Bridgeton;
two grandchildren, David R. Loder, III, Budd Lake, N. J. and Sandra M.
Venzie and her husband Rolf, Ventnor and two great grandchildren,
Danielle M. Venzie and Caroline K. Venzie, both of Ventnor. She was
preceded in death by her only son, David R. Loder, Jr.; a granddaughter,
Kristine A. Loder; three brothers, Delbert Cox, Edward Cox and Ralph Cox
and five sisters, Mary Ford, Leona Tomlin, Eunice Sprague, Margaret Lee
and Anna Cox.
Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family, in
the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield
Township. Burial will be in Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton. There will be
