Beverly Holden Jones, age 51, of
Millville died Tuesday morning, November 28, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes
Medical Center in Camden where she had been a patient for one week. She
had been in declining health for the past seven years.
Born in Bridgeton, the daughter of
Alonzo Holden of Fairfield Township and the late Sarah Sheppard Holden
she was the wife of John Jones. She had lived in Millville for five
years and prior to that had resided in Woodbury and Gouldtown.
Mrs. Jones was employed for the past
22 years with the Vineland Developmental Center as a Housekeeping
Supervisor.
A graduate of the Bridgeton High
School Class of 1974 she was a member of the Bridgeton Congregation of
Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was an avid Bingo player.
In addition to her father and
husband, she is survived by a daughter, Tina R. Guilford of Millville;
five brothers, Winford W. Holden of Fairfield Township, Vincent O.
Holden of New Castle, Delaware, Alonzo T. Holden and Curtis K. Holden
both of Fairfield Township, Ronald Bunting of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and two
grandchildren, Janesse and Brandi Savage.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Saturday, December 2nd at 4 p.m.
Cremation and inurnment will take
place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
Friends may call on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the services at
the funeral home.
