Laura Langley, 71, of Millville, died
Monday, Nov. 6, 3006, in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center. She
had been a patient in the hospital for 3 days and had been in failing
health for the past 2 years.
The wife of Jerome L. Langley, she
was born in Newport and was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Viola
Martin Livingston. She had been a resident of Millville for the past 4
years and prior to that had lived in Port Norris.
Laura had formerly been employed with
the Bivalve Packing Co. in Port Norris.
She was a member of John Wesley
United Methodist Church of Port Norris.
Besides her husband, survivors
include: three sons, Howard Livingston, Wildwood, Gary Livingston,
Millville and Jamie Livingston, Sr. and his wife Wanda, Millville; three
daughters, Deborah Livingston , Trenton, Penny Shabazz, Millville and
Beverly Livingston, Millville; two step-sons, Jerome Langley, Jr.,
Millville and Byron Forman, Port Norris; five step-daughters, Christine
Walker, Philadelphia, Pa., Delores Armstead, Bridgeton, Evelyn Baldwin,
North Carolina, Lynell Bains, Millville and Carla Langley, Millville;
three brothers, Phillip Martin, Newport, Joseph Livingston, Millville
and Alonzo Livingston, Vineland and four sisters, Violet White, Port
Norris, Lucille Ennals, Port Norris, Lottie Bethel, Maryland and Shirley
Hayward, Wildwood. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, George,
Sherman, Melvin and Clarence Livingston; two sisters, Barbara Ann Forman
and Evelyn Whittington; one son, Alexander Livingston; one step-son,
Wayne Langley and one step-daughter, Jewell Langley.
Funeral services will be held in John
Wesley United Methodist Church, Ogden Avenue, Port Norris, on Saturday
afternoon, Nov. 11, at 1:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Haleyville
Cemetery, Commercial Township. A viewing will be held at the church on
Saturday afternoon between 12:00 and 1:00 O’clock. Funeral arrangements
