Julia M. Burnight, age 89 of Newport,
died Saturday evening, October 7, 2006 at her home. She had been in
failing health for the past month.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the
daughter of the late George R. and Ella M. Couch Peterson and was the
wife of the late Willard Y. Burnight, Sr. who died in 1984.
Mrs. Burnight was retired from the
Wheaton Glass Company in Millville and had been an aid with HospiceCare.
She is survived by a son, Willard Y.
Burnight, Jr. and his wife Barbara; a daughter, Julia A. Pharo and her
husband Lawrence, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 9
great-great grandchildren along with three sisters and a brother. She
was predeceased by a son, David, one grandson, one granddaughter and a
brother.
Cremation and inurnment will take
place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME,
Cedarville.

that contributions in Mrs. Burnight’s memory be made to HospiceCare of
South Jersey, 2848 South Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360.
