Lorenzo “Renzi” Harris, aged 90, of
Lawrence Township died Tuesday morning, October 24, 2006 at
Genesis-Millville Center after a period of declining health.
Born in Cedarville and a lifetime
Lawrence Township resident, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and
Elizabeth Somersgill Harris and was the husband of the late Rose Gappa
Harris.
Prior to his retirement in 1976, Mr.
Harris had owned and operated the Harris Gulf Service Station in Fairton
for over 20 years.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Lodge
of Mullica Hill.
Surviving are a son, Lorenzo L.
“Bunky” Harris, Jr. of Lawrence Township, 6 grandchildren and 2
great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Dennis “Denny” Harris,
a daughter, Barbara Ann Harris a sister, Hazel Bradway and three
brothers, Donald, Kenneth and Sherman Harris.
Services will be private at the
convenience of the family.
Burial will be made at Cedar Hill
Cemetery in Cedarville.
