Joseph F. Pinto

Joseph F. Pinto, 67, of Bridgeton, died Monday afternoon, Oct. 23, 2006, in Vineland, at the home of his former wife and dedicated care giver, Mary Lou Logan. He had been in failing health for the past 4 years.

Mr. Pinto was born in Bridgeton and was the son of the late Raffaele and Anna Livotti Pinto. He had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.

Prior to his illness, Joe had been employed with H. H. Hankins & Bros. Lumber Co. in Bridgeton for 20 years. Before that he had worked at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for 25 years.

He was an avid antique car enthusiast and was a member of the Wheels of Thunder Car Club, Garden State 50’s Club and the Nostalgia Knight Car Club.

Survivors include: three sons, David Pinto, Vineland, Carl Pinto, Chesapeake, Va. and Joseph Pinto, Vineland; two daughters, Mary Ann Pinto, Vineland and Jo Ann Pinto, Bridgeton; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family wishes to offer special thanks to HospiceCare and his HospiceCare worker, Susan.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Saturday morning, Oct. 28th, at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Lawn Cemetery, Upper Deerfield Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning between 9:30 and 11 a.m. Written condolences may be sent to the family via the funeral home website and www.padgettfuneralhome.com.
