Jessie S. Shaffer, 35, of Delmar,
Delaware, formerly of Millville, died suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 4,
2006, the result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Millville and was the
son of Frances M. Sutton Shaffer of Millville. He had been a resident of
Delaware for the past year and prior to that he had lived in Colorado
and Millville.
Jesse was employed as a driver with
the Swift Trucking Co. in Richmond, Va. Prior to that he had served in
the U. S. Army, stationed in Colorado. He had also worked at Progressive
Foods in Vineland for 14 years.
He was an avid fisherman, crabber and
liked X-Box.
Besides his mother, survivors
include: two daughters, Brittany Shaffer, Millville and Jessica Shaffer,
Delaware; one sister, Dawn Mays, Millville; brother-in-law, Belford
Hawn, Millville; his companion, Patricia Israel, Delmar, De.; two
nephews, Brian Mays and Randy Hawn and one niece, Tiffany Mays.
Private funeral services will be held
at the convenience of the family at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Written condolences may be sent to
