Daniel Garrison, age 89, of Hopewell
Township died Friday, September 1, 2006 at the New Jersey Veterans
Memorial Home in Vineland. He had been in declining health for six
years.
Born in Dorchester, the son of the
late Smith T. and Mary Collins Garrison-Cox, he was the husband of the
late Clementine DeHainaut Garrison. A Hopewell Township resident for 68
years he had also previously lived in Cape May and Dorchester.
Mr. Garrison was a veteran of World
War II having served with the United States Army in the European
Theater.
Before his retirement he had been
employed with the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton for 42
years.
Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne
McClanahan of Pompano Beach, FL and Denise Garrison of Hopewell
Township; a sister, Mary Vaughn of Vineland, several nieces and nephews
and his close friends, Dr. and Mrs. Satish Mittal and family. He was
predeceased by a sister, Elmar Kelmar.
Cremation and inurnment took place at
Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
Arrangements are under the direction
of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
