Vernetta Murray, age 81, of Fairfield
Township died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at her home.
Born in Bridgeton, the daughter of
the late William and Reba Williams Gould, she was the wife of the late
William H. Murray. She was a lifetime Fairfield Township resident.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Murray
had been employed with the former Val Mode Lingerie and M.C. Schrank
Clothing Companies in Bridgeton for many years.
She attended the New Life Outreach
Church in Vineland.
She is survived by a daughter, Gail
V. Johnson of Bridgeton; three grandchildren, William H. Johnson of
Fairfield Township, Robert Carl Johnson, Jr. of Bridgeton and Gail V.
Pierce of Millville; three great-grandchildren, Joyce Ashley Johnson,
Abigail Louise Pierce and Matthew Joseph Pierce, Jr. all of Millville
and one sister, Dorothy of Bridgeton. She was predeceased by a brother
William Ridgeway and a sister Ethel Valentine.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Friday morning at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place at Fordville
Memorial Park in Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Friday morning
from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
