Theodore “Chicago” Holloway, Jr., age
63, of Bridgeton died Sunday morning, April 22, 2207 at Lincoln
Specialty Care in Vineland. He had been in declining health for the past
four years.
Born in Tarry, Arkansas he was the
son of Bird E. Holloway and the late Theodore Holloway. He was the
husband of Christine Baker Holloway and had been a Bridgeton resident
most of his adult life.
Prior to his retirement due to
disability he had been employed with the Anchor Hocking company in Salem
for 33 years and prior to that the Owens Illinois Glass Company in
Bridgeton.
He was a member of St. Phillips
Missionary Baptist Church in Bridgeton.
In addition to his mother who resides
in Grady, AR and his wife he is survived by seven sons, Theodore
Holloway, III and his wife Yolanda of Baltimore, MD, Kevin Holloway and
his wife Belinda of Millville, Raheim Holloway of Millville, Alco
Holloway and his fiancée Theresa and Timothy, Marcus and Christopher
Holloway all of Bridgeton; three daughters, Taneesha Brown of Upper
Deerfield Township, Dorsa Holloway of New York and Quasheema Holloway of
Hephzibah, GA.; seven brothers, Hythaniel Holloway of Florida, Cardell
and Morris both of Bridgeton, Allen of Chicago, Joe of Grady, AR,
Charlie of Pine Bluff, AR and Larry Holloway of Seattle, WA; four
sisters, Irma Jean of California, Bertha Holloway of Grady, AR, Flossie
Holloway of Ohio and Margaret Parish of District Heights, MD, 16
grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on
Saturday, April 28th at 12 Noon from St. Phillips Missionary Baptist
Church, Richardson Avenue, Bridgeton.
Burial will take place at Fordville
Memorial Park in Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10
a.m. to 12 Noon prior to the services at the church. THERE WILL BE NO
FINAL VIEWING.
