Elizabeth “Betty” (Butler) Lupperger,
70, of Millville, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 29, 2007,
at home after a brief illness.
Betty was a devoted mother who spent her life caring for her children
and grandchildren. She and her husband Lawrence celebrated their fifty
second Wedding Anniversary this week.
Betty enjoyed going to bingo with her friends, casino trips and her
visits to the beach.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Lupperger; two sons, Lawrence
Lupperger, Jr. and his wife Janice of Millville and James Lupperger and
his wife Dawn of Millville; three daughters; Maryann VanDemark and
husband Ted of Bridgeton, Lisa Williams and husband Paul Thomas of
Millville and Tracy Lupperger of Millville. In addition to her children
she is survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Betty
is also survived by her siblings, Joseph Bernard Butler of Vineland,
Catherine Clendaniel of Millville and Agnes Fischer of Vineland.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. John Bosco Church in Millville
on Saturday morning, Sept. 1, at 10:00 O’clock. There will be no public
viewing. Cremation took place in Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield
Township. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions, in
Mrs. Lupperger’s memory, to SJ Healthcare Hospice Care, P. O. Box 160,
Bridgeton, N. J. 08320. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
