William C. Peterson, Jr., age 73, of
Bridgeton died Monday, August 20, 2007 at the South Jersey Regional
Medical where he had been a patient for one week. He had been in
declining health for the past six months.
A lifetime Bridgeton resident he was
the husband of the late Sarah Smith Peterson.
Mr. Peterson was a veteran of the
Korean Conflict having served with the United States Navy.
Before his retirement he had been a
self employed carpenter most of his working life.
Surviving are four sons, William D.
Peterson of Woodbury Heights, Joseph Peterson of Elmer, Mark Peterson of
Bridgeton and Michael Peterson of Vineland; two daughters, Doreen
Peterson and Susan Peterson both of Bridgeton; a sister, Emma Holt of
Florida, 3 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was
predeceased by a daughter, Mary Peterson and several brothers and
sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Thursday, August 23rd at 11 a.m.
Cremation and inurnment will follow
the services at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
Friends may call on Thursday morning
from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
