Edward T. Pierce, 58, of Upper
Deerfield Township, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 28,
2007.
He was born in Bridgeton and was the son of Oleta Pierce of Upper
Deerfield Township and the late Kermit Pierce. He had been a lifetime
resident of the Bridgeton area.
Prior to his retirement Kermit had been employed as a master technician
with the Fairton Marina for several years.
He was a member of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indian Tribe; the Quinton
Sportsman’s Club; National Rifle Assoc. and had been an avid Harley
Davidson Motor Cycle enthusiast.
Besides his mother, survivors include: two sons, Edward T. Pierce, Jr.,
Eden, Md. and Shawn D. Saunders, Newark, Md. and one brother, Kermit
Pierce, Jr., Upper Deerfield Township.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1, at
2:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Gouldtown Memorial Park, Fairfield
Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday
afternoon between 1:00 and 2:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent
