Stephen C. Nothnick, 63 of Bridgeton,
formerly of Vineland, died in South Jersey Regional Medical Center, on
Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007. He had been a patient at the hospital for the
past week and had been in failing health for 6 months.
The husband of Tresa Hall Nothnick, he was born in Vineland and was the
son of the late Werner Gerhard Nothnick and Wally Gertrude Assmann
Nothnick. He had lived in Bridgeton for the past year and a half and
prior to that had been a lifetime resident of Vineland.
Prior to his retirement, Stephen had served as Tax Assessor for the City
of Vineland for 22 years.
He was an avid hunter.
Besides his wife, survivors include:
one daughter, Lasey Nothnick, Bridgeton; one step-son, Edward Long,
Seabrook; one step-daughter, Crystal Borchers, Bridgeton; three
grandchildren and a brother, Warren Nothnick, Malaga.
Funeral services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public viewing.
Cremation will take place at Laurel
Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township. Funeral arrangements are under
the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
