Rebecca R. Rodriguez, 66, of
Millville, died in the S. J. Regional Medical Center on Saturday, Feb.
24, 2007, after an extended illness.
The wife of Aniano Rodriguez, she was born in Sumter, S. C., and was the
daughter Viola Benbow Benjamin of Williamstown and the late Isaac
Vaughn. She had lived in Millville for 4 years and prior to that had
been a resident of Vineland.
She had previously been employed with the Vineland State School for over
15 years.
Rebecca was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of Philadelphia, Pa.
Besides her husband and mother, survivors include: four daughters,
Marlene Rodriguez, Millville, Amorita Rodriguez, Millville, Rhoda
Rodriguez, Bridgeton and Teresa Rodriguez, Millville; four sons, Timothy
Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez, Jeffrey Rodriguez and Mark Rodriguez, all
of Millville; one brother, Abraham Vaughn, Camden and eight
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Edward
Benjamin and a brother, Willie Vaughn.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday, March 2 at 12:00
O’clock noon. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell
Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning
between 11:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent to the
