Sandra L. Pierce, age 67, of
Deerfield Township died Thursday morning, January 25, 2007 at South
Jersey Hospital-Elmer, where she had been a patient for one day
following an extended illness.
Born in Hays, Kansas the daughter of
the late Laurel Tourtillott she was the wife of Alex T. Pierce and had
lived in Deerfield Township for the past 20 years. Prior to that she had
resided in Upper Deerfield Township.
Before her retirement due to health
problems 8 years ago she had been employed at the Rainbow Nursing Center
in Pittsgrove Township for 22 years.
Mrs. Pierce was a member of the
Rosenhayn United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and
arts and crafts.
In addition to her husband survivors
include four daughters, Mitzi Kinzey and husband Vincent of Deerfield
Township, Cindy Kirner and husband Lloyd of Port Orchard, FL, Kris
Patterson of Paxton, IL and Shannon Roark and husband Dana of
Bloomington, IL; three sons, David Patterson and wife Devin of Elmer,
Lloyd Patterson and wife Nicole of Hemet, CA and Brian Pierce of
Lakewood, FL along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She
was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Patterson.
Memorial services will be held on
Monday, February 5th at 10 a.m. at the Rosenhayn United Methodist
Church, Morton Avenue, Rosenhayn.
Burial will be made at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Arrangements are under the direction
of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield
Township.
