Rollin “Bill” Riley, age 60, of
Bridgeton died unexpectedly Thursday, January 11, 2007 at his home. He
had been in declining health for the past four years.
Born n Bridgeton, the son of the late
Joseph and Mary Peterson Riley he had been a lifetime Bridgeton and
Fairton area resident.
Prior to his retirement due to
disability Mr. Riley had been employed as an officer with the Cumberland
County Sheriffs Department for 25 years.
Bill was formerly an active member of
the Fairton Volunteer Fire Company. He was an avid hunter, fisherman,
and NASCAR racing fan.
Surviving are three sons, Scott Riley
of Vineland, Sean Riley, U.S. Air Force stationed in San Antonio, TX and
Anthony Riley of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters, Phyllis Peraset of
Palm Bay, FL and Tracy DeLussa of Hopewell Township along with 10
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Thursday, January 18th at 11 a.m.
Cremation and inurnment will take
place at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township.
Friends may call on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the
services at the funeral home.
