Blanche B. Simmons, age 94, of
Vineland and formerly of Bridgeton died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at
Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Township. She had been in declining health
for several years.
Born in Bridgeton, the daughter of
the late Joseph and Emma Green Pearce she was the wife of the late Mac
Dana Simmons. She had been a Vineland resident since 1989 and prior to
that had resided in Bridgeton.
Mrs. Simmons was a longtime member of
the First Church of the Nazarene in Hopewell Township where she had
taught Sunday School for 50 years.
She was predeceased by a daughter,
Maxine S. Goos in January of 2004.
Surviving are her son in law, Dr.
Frederick Goos of Vineland and two grandchildren, Andrew Mac Goos and
Jennifer L. Goos both of Vineland.
Funeral services will be held on
Monday, January 8th at 11 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 350
West Park Drive, Hopewell Township.
Burial will be made at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Monday from 10 to
11 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
