Estella Usinger, age 92 of Bridgeton,
died Wednesday evening, January 17, 2007 at the Innovacare
Rehabilitation Center in Hammonton. She had been in declining health for
the past year and a half.
A lifetime Bridgeton resident, she
was the daughter of the late Charles and Louisa Miitsch Brown and the
wife of the late Robert M. Usinger, Sr.
Mrs. Usinger was a homemaker and a
member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeton. She was
formerly a longtime and active member of the Laurel Hill United
Methodist Church also in Bridgeton. Mrs. Usinger was an avid gardener
and bird watcher and also enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by a daughter,
Patricia A. Usinger of Williamstown; a son, Robert M. Usinger, Jr. of
Portland, Maine; four grandchildren, Mark Usinger, Kay Slone, Neil
Usinger and Keith Kohnke and two great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by a daughter, Janise Kohnke, two brothers, Charles “Bud’
Brown and Lewis Brown and a sister, Maude Sutton.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77 Upper Deerfield Township
on Wednesday, January 24th at 10 a.m.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mrs. Usinger’s memory be made to the Samaritan
Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
