Allan E. Walker, age 58, of Upper
Deerfield Township died Monday afternoon, January 22, 2007 at South
Jersey Hospital-Elmer after a brief illness.
Born in Rumford, Maine, the son of
Virginia Potter Walker and the late Donald E. Walker he had been an
Upper Deerfield Township resident for 20 years. Prior to that he had
resided in Utica, New York.
Mr. Walker was a veteran of the
Vietnam Conflict having served with the United States Air Force.
He was currently employed with the
State of New Jersey, Department of Labor as an Employment Counselor.
An avid reader, he was a former
children’s soccer league coach with the Cohansey Soccer League in Upper
Deerfield Township and also a children’s baseball coach.
In addition to his mother who resides in Bethel, Maine he is survived by
two daughters, Samantha Eaddy-Walker of Seabrook and Marrietta T.
Seibold of Germany; three sons, Songkran Walker and Joseph Walker of Las
Vegas, NV and James D. Eaddy of Philadelphia; his soul mate and
companion, Alice Eaddy of Millville; three brothers, Dean Walker of San
Francisco, CA, Craig Walker of Tennessee and Mark Walker of Maine and
three grandchildren, Madison and Tayler Seibold of Germany and Chrysten
Eliana Alipusan-Walker.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Tuesday, January 30th at 2 p.m.
Burial will take place at the
Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 1 to
2 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
