Alvin P. Bunting, age 85, of Stow
Creek Township died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at his home.
Mr. Bunting was born in Dagsboro,
Delaware and was the son of the late Raymond L. and Bernice Dukes
Bunting. He was the husband of the late Katharine Geisinger Bunting and
had lived in Stow Creek Township for the past 63 years moving there from
Delaware.
Before his retirement 23 years ago he
had been employed with the State Department of Transportation for over
25 years. Prior to that he was a self employed farmer in Stow Creek
Township.
An avid gardener and private pilot,
he was a member of the Cohansey Baptist Church and was a member of the
Free and Accepted Masons.
Surviving are two sons, Karl B.
Bunting and his wife Janice and John R. Bunting all of Stow Creek
Township.
Private funeral services will be held
at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction
of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield
Township.
In lieu of flowers the family asks
that contributions in Mr. Bunting’s memory be made to either the Shiloh
Rescue Squad, 900 Main Street, Shiloh, NJ 08353 or to Ranch Hope For
Boys, Saw Mill Road, Alloway, NJ 08001.
