Linwood G. Caine

Linwood G. Caine, age 78, of Upper Deerfield Township died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the South Jersey Regional Medical Center.

Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Francis and Alice Richie Caine and the husband of Clara Loudermilk Caine. He had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 27 years and prior to that had resided in Bridgeton.

Mr. Caine had been employed with Wheaton Tubing in Millville for 22 years and prior to that the former LeStourgeon’s Bakery in Bridgeton 23 for years.

He was a veteran and had served with the United States Army.

An avid fisherman, he had also formerly bowled in the Industrial League. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and did volunteer work at the church.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Linda M. Clark of Bridgeton and Joyce A. Jones of Millville; five stepsons, John R. Seay, Jr. of South Carolina, Fred A. Seay of Millville, David L. Seay of West Virginia, Steve A. Seay of Virginia and Barry T. Seay of Upper Deerfield Township; two stepdaughters, Sheila J. Smith of Maryland and Sharon L. Dupree of Georgia; a sister, Alice Kowalsky of New Castle, DE, 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 350 West Park Drive, Hopewell Township.

Burial will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway #77, Upper Deerfield Township.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Mr. Caine’s memory be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 350 West Park Drive, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. Written condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhome.com.
