James Donald “Donnie” Caldwell, age
59, of Lower Alloways Creek Township died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at the
South Jersey Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born in Salem, the son of the late James T. Rich and Bonnie Caldwell
Rich. He was the husband of Jeanette Daddario Caldwell. He had been a
Lower Alloways Creek Township resident for 19 years and prior to that
had lived in Alloway Township.
Prior to his retirement last year, he had been employed with Mannington
Mills for 31 years.
Donnie enjoyed his truck, his trike, camping and his family.
Besides his wife, survivors include: one son, J. D. Caldwell, Jr. and
his fiancée, Renee Finlaw, Alloways Creek; four sisters, Judy Nielson,
Alloway Township, Gale Steelman, Alloway Township, Pam Girtain, Lower
Alloways Creek Twp. and Brenda Wood, Carneys Point; two brothers, Wayne
Rich, Pilesgrove and Roger Rich, Alloway Twp. and many nieces, nephews
and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Wednesday morning, July 11, at
11:00 O’clock. Friends will be received Wednesday morning between 10:00
and 11:00 O’clock, prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family
suggests contributions, in Mr. Caldwell’s memory, to the Lower Alloways
