Linda D. (Ferguson) Jacob, age 63, of
Elkton, Maryland died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Union Hospital in Elkton
where she had been a patient for ten days following a brief illness.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the
daughter of the late Thomas and Geraldine Hester Ferguson and the wife
of Peter Jacob. She had lived in Elkton for the past five years and
prior to that had resided in Newark, DE and Elmer.
Mrs. Jacob had assisted her husband
in the operation of their business, Peter Jacob Veneer in Maryland.
In addition to her husband, she is
survived by two sons, Thomas P. Jacob of Elkton, MD and Pete C. Jacob of
Newark, DE; one daughter, Gerri L. Jacob of New Jersey; two sisters,
Diane Steelman of Vero Beach, FL and Judith Bennett of Seminole County,
FL; two brothers, Thomas Ferguson of FL, Roy Ferguson of Mt. Airy, NC, 9
grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Monday, July 23rd at 2 p.m.
Burial will take place at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Monday from 12 to
2 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
