Lorraine Peterson, age 64, of
Millville died unexpectedly on Friday, July 13, 2007 at the South Jersey
Regional Medical Center.
Born in Upper Deerfield Township she
was the daughter of the late Ordan and Mildred Bacon Hays and the wife
of Steelman Peterson, Jr. She had been a Millville resident for the past
33 years and prior to that had lived in Bridgeton.
Mrs. Peterson had previously been
employed at Genesis Eldercare-Millville Center for 15 years until her
retirement due to her health.
In addition to her husband, she is
survived by six sons, Steelman Peterson, III and his wife Michelle of
Upper Deerfield Township, Richard Peterson and his wife Charlene, Paul
Peterson and Brian Peterson and his wife Darlene all of Millville, John
Peterson and his wife Tricia of Deerfield Township and David Peterson of
Millville; two daughters, Patty Turner and Linda Macklin both of
Florida; one brother, Louie Hays and his wife Barbara of Pittsgrove
Township; brother in laws and sister in laws, Marshall and Rosalind
Peterson of Bridgeton, Fred and Mary Mensing of Deerfield Township, Joan
Peterson of Arkansas, Caroline Ridgeway of Bridgeton, 18 grandchildren,
1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
two brothers, Alvin and Hardy Hays.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Wednesday, July 18th at 12 Noon.
Cremation and inurnment will follow
the services at Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11
a.m. to 12 noon prior to the services at the funeral home.
