Gloria Pritchett, 58, of Bridgeton,
died in the South Jersey Regional Medical Center on Friday evening, July
20, 2007. She had been a patient at the hospital for 2 weeks and had
been in failing health for the past 4 months.
Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of Thelma McGriff of Bridgeton
and had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.
Prior to her retirement 6 years ago, she had been employed with the
Vineland Developmental Center in Vineland for 30 years.
Gloria was a member of City Harvest Outreach Church in Sewell.
Besides her mother, survivors include: one daughter, Tiffany J.
Pritchett, Bridgeton; four sisters, Harriet Gould, Bridgeton, Janet
Caldwell, Fairton, Gwen McGriff and Linda McGriff, both of Bridgeton;
three brothers, Lloyd Pritchett, Vineland, Roosevelt McGriff, Jr.,
Bridgeton and Bruce McGriff, Willingboro and one grandson, Nehe-Miah
Pritchett. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Pritchett; a
brother, Richard McGriff and her step-father, Roosevelt McGriff.
Funeral services will be held in the John Wesley United Methodist
Church, Baltimore Ave., Bridgeton, on Friday, July 27, 2007, at 12:00
O’clock noon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Hopewell
Township. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday morning between
11:00 and 12:00 O’clock. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
