Louise Watson Bailey, aged 80, of
Salem, formerly of Bridgeton, died in the Manor Care of West Deptford on
Monday, June 18, 2007, after a brief illness.
The wife of the late Raymond Bailey, she was born in Bridgeton and was
the daughter of the late John W. Romer and Adella Tyndall Romer. She had
lived in Salem for the past 6 years and prior to that she had been a
lifetime resident of Bridgeton. She was also preceded in death by her
first husband, William L. Watson, Sr.
Prior to her retirement 29 years ago, she had been employed as a
secretary with the former Fogg Trucking Co. in Hopewell Township and
before that with the former Jersey Package Co. in Bridgeton.
Louise was an animal lover and she enjoyed golfing and gardening.
Survivors include: one daughter, Kathleen Watson Lore of Salem and
formerly of Bridgeton; one granddaughter, Staff Sgt. Amanda Kathleen
Lore of Hill Air Force Base, Utah and currently deployed in Afghanistan;
grandson, William Lee Lore and his wife Melissa, grandson, Jon Watson,
Tenn.; great granddaughters, Hailey Ann Lore and Ashlee Nichole Lore and
great grandson, Jon L. Watson, Bridgeton. She was also preceded in death
by a son, William L. Watson, Jr. and two brothers, Robert Romer and
Thomas Romer.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Monday afternoon, June 25, at
1:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park, Hopewell
Township. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Monday afternoon
between 12:00 and 1:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent to the
