Vandol L. Rhett, age 27 of
Philadelphia and formerly of Bridgeton died suddenly on Friday, June 1,
2007 in Philadelphia.
Born in Bridgeton, the son of Darlene
M. Rhett and Deloris Cruz of Vineland he had lived in Philadelphia for
the past nine years and prior to that was a Bridgeton resident.
Vandol was currently employed as a
chef with Warm Daddy’s Restaurant and had previously been a chef with
the Zanzibar Blue Cafe both located in Philadelphia.
A graduate of the Culinary Arts
School of Pennsylvania in Pittsburg, he was also a graduate of the
Bridgeton High School Class of 2000 where he was active with both the
track and wrestling teams.
In addition to his parents, he is
survived by a brother, Edwin Cruz of Millville; a sister, Sheena
Hernandez of Vineland; his stepfather, Jose Hernandez of Glassboro and
his fiancée Melissa Gardner of Philadelphia along with several aunts,
uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Friday, June 8th at 2 p.m.
Burial will take place at Fordville
Memorial Park in Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Friday from 1 to
2 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
