Billy B. Williams, 70, of the Laurel
Lake section of Commercial Township, died at his home on Saturday, March
3, 2007. He had been in failing health for the past year.
The husband of Lucille Messer Williams, he was born in Grassy Fork,
Tenn., and was the son of Amanda Davis Williams of Bridgeton, N. J., and
the late Joseph Williams. He had lived at his present address for 18
years and prior to that had been a resident of Seabrook.
Retired for the past 8 years, due to disability, he had been a
self-employed truck driver for 24 years. Prior to that he had been
employed with Seabrook Farms in ware housing and truck driving for 25
years.
Billy loved his family, his children & grandchildren, working in his
yard and helping others in need.
Besides his wife and mother, survivors include: three daughters, Brenda
Park, Commercial Township, Betty Williams, Commercial Township, and
Donna Roskowski, Ocean View, and two brothers, Jim Williams and Donald
Williams, both of Upper Deerfield Township. He was preceded in death by
a son, Richard Williams-Smith and a brother, Joseph Williams, Jr.
Funeral services will be held in the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State
Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Thursday afternoon, March 8, at
2:00 O’clock. Burial will be in Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery,
Pittsgrove. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday
evening between 7:00 and 8:00 O’clock. Written condolences may be sent
