Mary A. Ridgeway, age 88, of Stow
Creek Township died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the South Jersey Regional
Medical Center in Vineland. She had been in declining health for the
past seven years.
Born in Cheswold, Delaware she was
the daughter of the late John and Isabella Driggus Robinson and the wife
of the late Manford N. Ridgeway. She had resided in Stow Creek Township
for the past 12 years and prior to that was a longtime Fairfield
Township resident.
Before her retirement Mrs. Ridgeway
had been employed with the Bridgeton Dye and Finishing Company for
several years and the former Aberfoyle Company in Bridgeton for 26
years.
She was a member of the Downtown
Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bridgeton.
Surviving are three sons, Manford N. Ridgeway, Jr. of Ocean City,
Charles A. Ridgeway of Stow Creek Township and Larry V. Ridgeway of
Bridgeton; a daughter, Cheryl A. Ridgeway of Malaga, 4 grandchildren, 3
great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was
predeceased by three sisters, Edna Sye, Lillian Reed and Louise Steward
and a brother, Albert B. Robinson.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township
on Thursday, May 17th at 12:00 noon.
Burial will take place at Fordville
Memorial Park in Fairfield Township.
Friends may call on Thursday from
10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon prior to the services at the funeral home.
