Ruby L. Mingin, age 83, of Swanton,
Ohio and formerly of Bridgeton passed away unexpectedly at her home on
Thursday, November 1st, 2007.
Born in Charleston, West Virginia on
October 11, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Noble and Sylvia
McClure Lanham and the wife of the late William Mingin.
Prior to her retirement Ruby had
worked at the former Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton for 41
years. She then moved to North Carolina after retirement for a period of
time and then on to Ohio.
She is survived by her two sons,
James Rieben and his wife Barb of Swanton, Ohio and Arthur Rieben of Bay
St. Louis, Mississippi; four sisters, Margaret Phillips, Lois Larabee
and Catherine Guthrie and her husband Jack all of Charleston, West
Virginia and Sylvia Hess and her husband J.D. of Richland, North
Carolina; four grandchildren, Holli Cuevas, Tina Tedrow, Dale DeCamp and
Jason Rieben, nine great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and
two very special friends, William and Lillian Thomas of Swanton, Ohio.
She was predeceased by a son, Earl Donald Rieben, Jr. and two sisters,
Wanda Shaver and Lear Rodgers.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway, Upper Deerfield Township on
Tuesday, November 6th at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jamie Bagley, pastor of
the Carll’s Corner Community Fellowship Chruch officiating.
Burial will take place at Fernwood
Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10
to 11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
