Marjorie J. Asselta, age 87, of
Fortescue died Wednesday morning, October 3, 2007 at the South Jersey
HospiceCare Unit in Bridgeton. She had been in declining health for the
past ten years.
Born in Millville on June 11, 1920
she was the daughter of the late Percy and Josephine Potts Beebe the
wife of the late Anthony Asselta. She had been a Fortescue resident for
35 years moving there from Millville.
Mrs. Asselta was a homemaker but had
formerly assisted her late husband in the operation of Squeeky’s Bar in
Millville for many years. She had also worked as a Cumberland County
Home Health Aide.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia
Cusumano of Galeton, PA; four grandchildren, Barbara Elisano, Edward A.
Elisano, Shawn Elisano, Dina Chance and 2 great-grandchildren. She was
predeceased by a son Richard V. Chance.
Funeral services will be held at the
PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Friday, October 5th
at 11 a.m.
Interment will be made at Cedar Hill
Cemetery in Cedarville.

11 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
